just to comment one of the review here.. its a good beer, actually as a Hungarian I have never thought that for a foreign, this beer would taste as an exceptionally good beer.. but lets face it.. cool..
about the price.. even though the beers are cheap in Hungary, there is no way that a 6 pack would cost only 80 cents in CAD.. one beer yes.. but its still nothing in price compared to a sh.tty budlite when they ask for a 6pack at least $7..
not that big a fun of beer back in scotland but when i visited budapest i fell in love with this beer. it tastes amazing and you can just drink it all day. just trying to find a place in scotland that sells it but no lick .
Wow did i ever get wasted on this stuff when i was staying in Hungary. A 6 pack of half litre cans cost $0.80 canadian. 80 cents!!!
A bit watery, but fair enough. It's got that nihilistic, Heinekeny, nothingish taste, but the good thing about that is it won't interfere with anything you ate of drank before you have it.
I have tasted and loved flavors of many beers, and personaly Borsodi Bivaly is one of the best beers I have ever tasted, and not to forget mentioning, it has a plesent beer feeling, unlike many beers i have drank in America and elsewhere. Hats off to the hungarians and this wonderful beer. I spent a year in hungary and tried all types and styles of local and international beers, and cant say that i liked any as much as i have this beer alone.
Best budget beer ever! What's more, it's fairly tasty and strong like wine. Yeehaw. :P
When you taste it, you fall in love this stuff!
It's smooth, strong and a little bit sweet.
