I grew up in a defence colony and the beer available in the Canteen was usually Golden Eagle.
I have not had this beer for the last few years and realised that I really missed it when I drank -Spitfire in UK. They both taste exactly the same.
lovely flavour, slightly bitter, but very distinctive.Its a light coloured beer, and I have always found it to go well with spicy food , esp kababs.
I have been drinking beers for ages and Golden Eagle beer is one of the most exotic beer I ever drinked. i definetly recommend trying.
Yes - Golden Eagle has a mysteriously smoky flavor that distinguishes it from all other brews I've tasted over the years; it is refreshingly clean, and has a smooth, well-balanced body that finishes fairly quickly with little lingering aftertaste. (Yum... I wish I had one right now!)
