Golden Eagle - Beer, Other - Reviews & Comments

I have been drinking beer on & off with big gaps since the last 40-45 years. As far as I am concerned, I truly feel that 'Golden Eagle' Beer is a World class excellent Beer. When u honestly check it's overall quality, taste, body, slight bitterness & especially the price etc; etc;... u will agree with me about it's class. I have tried other brands & the popular German beers & they r also very good. Then there are the others who will swear by the more expensive & popular 'KF', but for me I would like to remain loyal to my Golden Eagle.

I grew up in a defence colony and the beer available in the Canteen was usually Golden Eagle. I have not had this beer for the last few years and realised that I really missed it when I drank -Spitfire in UK. They both taste exactly the same. lovely flavour, slightly bitter, but very distinctive.Its a light coloured beer, and I have always found it to go well with spicy food , esp kababs.

I have been drinking beers for ages and Golden Eagle beer is one of the most exotic beer I ever drinked. i definetly recommend trying.

Yes - Golden Eagle has a mysteriously smoky flavor that distinguishes it from all other brews I've tasted over the years; it is refreshingly clean, and has a smooth, well-balanced body that finishes fairly quickly with little lingering aftertaste. (Yum... I wish I had one right now!)
