The beer that latvians are used to call drink made of beer, it is ok to take a bottle of that at sauna or when you are close to death on the next morning after the pubs and bars of Riga Old Town! This is the beer of cheep end.. popular because of well organized marketing, price and history of it!
Hum...It's sad, I can't buy Latvian beers...and I can't go to Latvia because I haven't enough money....very very sad...if the latvian are like a latvian girl I know...so latvians girls are very pleasant :p
It's good, but not that good. You probably haven't tried Tervetes alus (also Latvian beer) yet. This is the god of beers!
p.s. By the way, you can get Aldaris alus here in London, Russian show in Queensway or try the Latvian bar in Bayswater.
best beer I have drunk especially on a hot day.I wish I could buy it in England
