enjoyed my stay in Luxembourg city and Mondorf...Bofferding beer was fantastic.. puts out beer in the states to shame.. I really loved it. I do prefer it to be COLD..
In my teens I stayed with an aunt and uncle in Luxembourg. Enjoyed drinking Bofferding out in Lux square. The bars served it in a clay mug. I ran off with the mug and it is proudly on my window sill now. My one and only theft. Would love to taste Bofferding again!!
I lived in Germany just acros the border from Luxemborg City and must say that Bofferding is by far the best beer I have ever tasted warm or cold. Living in germany for three years, touring the country as I did (and the rest of Europe) by far it is the best. In fact it has been 12 years since I lived there but travel back every 6 to 12 months and ALWAYS try and get some back to US. Anyone know where it can be bought in US?
BOFFERDING is by far the best beer i have ever tasted nothing comes close.we sat at the bar until the small hours at the sheraton near luxembourg airport savouring every mouthful.
now i just need to find somewhere that sells this beer of the gods in the uk.
I also spent a week and half in Lux this past March. It was a great joy discovering Bofferding. A really clean taste without the aftertaste of the hopps. Mousel was also very tasty.
I went to Germany to visit a friend. His family worked at the brewery and I was able to consume tons of this fine beer for free. It is quite wonderful. smooth and delicious...the best beer I've tasted.
Drank copious amounts of this in Luxembourg in Feb 2004. It is a fine lager with a crisp fresh taste and a clean hangover. Great beer and beautiful women in Luxembourg.
I spent three months in luxembourg last year and the Bofferding tastes fantastic much better than any beer available in the uk
