It is a great beer. Im lucky enough to get it at my neighborhood store. But they only sell 40s now and it's pricey at about 10bucks for one. Man, but they are worth it. I'm there almost every day after work. They also have corona familiar which taste completely different from the "lemonade" we have here. Their number is 1.323.733.8106. I had this beer in Acapulco when my wife and I went back for our 10 year anniversary. We sat in a straw-canopied bar/restaurant and had chips, salsa, shrimp tacos and many Victorias. I wish I could get my hands on some in Chicago but they do not export it here. But... I have been brewing my own beer for 10 years and I'm trying to zero in on the recipe. I can get a few minor details from Modelo (company that brews it) and I have to fill in the rest myself. I have been doing some "research" but it would be best to get my hands on a few bottles so I could taste it again. Cheers!
It is a good beer but there are betters like "Indio", a lager dark beer... you have to try that one, but it's only sold on some parts of the country, central and northeast... you can not have one at Cancun! Try a "Bohemia" regular and the new dark, both are made with the best ingredients. Of cours you have to try a "Negra Modelo" if you haven't done it yet. Corona, XX Lager, Tecate, Carta Blanca are good enought but kind of commercial, all and each one with some difference.
i agree that victoria is an excellent beer, i am having one right now. SALUD!!!!!
man last nov i went to mex and i had a victoria for da first tyme ever.i even crossed a 12 of victorias back home.da 12 pack of 40oz was only 20 bucks.and im goin back in a week.
The best cheve ever tasted, unfornelty victoria is only sold in mexico. I wish I could have couple beers right now
like JAVIER i live in chicago and i too would like info on where i can get this great beer i drank it in cancun along with montejo those are some tasty beers not strong at all but tasty i think miller lite is stronger

Victoria is the best beer. Kills corona and tecate. You can find it in latin markets it is an export from Nicaragua. Nicaragua great beer and beautiful women. what more can you ask for.
Well I consider this my favorite cerveza! I like so much that I have 3 cartons here in Fresno, California. Just had to have some here in the states. This beer is just to good so I had to bring some back with me!
I have been going down to Mexico for the longest time. One day, I was with my personal bartender (Alfredo) at the Feria de San Marcos in Aguascalientes. I remember that day distinctively and how hot it was that April afternoon. I walked right up and sat at the bar. With cold beer on my mind to quench thirst, I asked for my beer, (Corona) and Alfredo replied he was out of them at the time. Then I replied, surprise me with something else. It was a Victoria Beer! I had a taste of it and never went back to that Corona beer. Ever since then, it was my happy hour two for the price of one and all my family and friends with me! To bad we cannot get it in the USA – it would be a gold mine! John in Southern California signing out! GO UCLA BRUINS!
Yes i must say victoria is an excellent beer! If you go to Tijuana to drink dont pay more than 8 dollars for 12 with chips salsa and guac.
Victoria beer is great! I began drinking it while I was living in San Miguel de Allende, Mex and attending a spansih language school there. I used to drink Tecate as my favorite Mexican cerveza, but Victoria is so much better. I can not find it here in the States, though.
Has anyone found it here????
PS I think the beer is named after the state in Mexico where it is made.
I was in Mexico City for my birthday this year and all I cared to drink was Victoria. I smuggled three bottles home with me (it was leftover and I couldn't bear leave it in the hotel room). I had to explain at security that it was the best beer, you can't get it in the States, and that is why I had three bottles of it in my backpack. A mexican woman next to me in line agreed and told me that yes, it is good beer, but it is only for Mexico, not for any place else. I promised her I would drink it fast once I got to the states. Such good beer!
I also was in Mexico on business and a local family bought me some Victoria .....outstanding...far better than Corona (a/k/a/ lemonade) or nasty Pacifica...In fact, I went online to find it and could only find this thread....!!!!
We have been to Mexico several times and have usually drank Corona or Pacifico. Upon finding Victoria in Ixtapa I wouldn't even consider going back to either Corona or Pacifico. It was excellent, full bodied, clean tasting beer!! I want some right now!!
I have cousins that came in from Mexico and they brought us a couple of cases of Victorias. They are so good. I wish they sold Victorias in the States.
Well actually I had a question....I live in chicago illinois and was wondering were or how I could come across buying some of the beer "VICTORIA" any clues please fill me in.
I had several types of Beer this week, I was on business in Mexico and found that the Beer there is awesome!! Especically "Victoria"

Excellent beer. I had it several times while I was in Cancun. I like ti better than Negra Modelo, but I don't think they export it while Negra Modelo is fairly easy to find.
NOrmal beer, but pretty famous, not vulgar. Found in 250 Cl, 339 cl, and 1 lt. Means Victory, and has a long serie of comercials with foreign people trying to take it to their country and fail. Costs 7 MXN.
