I tried the Bavaria 8.6 Blond beer which is imported (to Australia) and found it not to my taste - from the first sip it was very sweet, and didn't improve.

Discovered this beer 12 months a go and hooked me straight away. Love the taste, easy to drink and no hangover. I just wish i could buy it at pubs and clubs, as i can only find it at Liquorland bottleshops.

I started to drink bavaria beer over the past 3 months and find it a very good tasting beer my only problem is i cannot find many outlets who sell this products in my local area so i have to revert to some of my old brandsthese i do not find as satisfing as bavaria i think more people should try it in my location the in may be more wildly sold.

This is my favorate beer, and has been for about 3 years now. It´s not the best beer in the world, I would never say that but, it´s a lot better than these Pilsner beer that are so popular, like Heineken and Carlsberg and so on... And it does not have a sweet taste!

I'm drinking Bavaria since I was 15, It then was, and still is the best beer I've ever had. When I have the opportunity to get some, I won't leave that oppotunity unused....

I have started drinking this beer regularly as my local off licence has started selling it for the first time so I gave it a try and loved it. I would rate it well above Budweiser & Heineken, probably on par iwth Carling but behind Stella.

Sorry, but I think this is the worst of the Dutch beers. I've only had it in the US, but it is awful. Too sweet, and god help you if you have it any temp other than ice cold or you let your bottle get warm. And the headache from the stuff is bad, on par with a Red Dog beer (a vile US product) headache. I'll try a Bavaria next time I'm back in Holland and see if it's different (better) there.

I am familiar with Bavaria beer in Costa Rica, I have never seen it here in the US, though it may be sold in some other state I am unfamiliar with. The Bavaria I am familiar with comes in brown and gold labels, gold being the dark or premuim, if this is the same brand its an average beer, not to bitter and a little sweat but lacks a strong firm taste as you find in Grulsh as another person has found, its not as smooth as heineken or grulsh but is above the crapy cheap beers so if you can't get a heine or grolsh then Bavaria is acceptable - in Costa Rica its better than Imperial beer which is their Countries national beer and dehydrates me and reminds you manana.

Since it's the only beer on draft in my student nation I have been drinking many hectoliters of this stuff. The problem with this beer is a horrible sweet taste when you drink your first glasses. The good thing is that you won't notice this feature ten beers after. Cheap beer brewed by a friendly, family owned company. Drink Grolsch or the Czech brand Pilsener Urquell. Heineken reminds me of the famous 'making love in a canoo'.

Very very flavoursome beer, with smoothe taste, intense malt and a balanced consistency. Very good pilsner by anyone standards.
