Review from Carl N Berg by Carl N Berg
Grew up in former Canal Zone 1947-1970. High school years knew plenty of Atlas Beer and Balboa Beer, but always preferred Balboa. The colder the better, especially in the tall bottles, with a good ceviche. Am looking for anyone who knows how to have it delivered here in Arizona. My e-mail: CarlNBerg@aol.com
was at ft kobbe panama for 2 years. balboa beer was the best....
my dad tells me about this beerall the time and would love to know how to get it shipped to him anyone know?
I resided in Panama from 1944 till 1963. I consider Balboa Beer one of the premier beers I've had the pleasure of tasting. I would rate it very high. If you can provide me with information on how I can get a case shipped and delivered to my residence here in San Jose, California, I'd be grateful. I've attempted to find information on how to obtain Balboa Beer from many sources, but have been unable to do so. If you can provide me with information on how to get some delivered to me, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Sincerely,
Fred Orr

Just returned from Panama from the canal zone and Boca Del Toro. Tried Panama beer but by far I prefer Balboa. This is a beer that would suit the US beer drinker
It was a refreshing beer, good taste, heavy filling, but brisk taste.
Panama beer is brewed in the temparate central highlands of the country by a Brew Meister from Munich ,Germany. It conforms to the Rhienheitsgebot the Bavarian purity law and is brewed in the lager style. The taste is tangy and light which is limits it's appeal to northern palates. It is best appreciated in country of origin where it is freshest and the refreshing flavor compliments the hot humid climate.
