I drank Baltika 9 while working in Kazahkstan 4 years ago. I could not believe something so cheap could taste so good. It's definately my favorite, just too hard to find in Louisiana. 4 bottles of it is about all the average person can handle in 1 sitting though.
My favourite all time beer, tho ive only ever drunk it when i was in Russia =(
What a great beer, Baltika is good , coming from someone who loves "German Beer" who likes Julius Ecther or even Adventinus...
It almost has a "hefe weissen" taste especially
the wheat ale Baltika...
This is the best Lager beer I've ever had. I've been an ale man for a long time now, only an ocassional lager, but the Baltica #9 is da bomb. Cheap too! Get it while you can.
This beer is surprisingly good tasting even though it is over 8%.I challenge anyone to talk sense after 4 bottles of this tasty beer.
As well as being strong, and inexpensive, this beer has a well rounded flavor. It is a warm and rich tasting beer without bitterness. As most high quality beers, it is quite nice without being ice cold.
