I have lived in South Africa my whole life and started drinking beer at a rather yoiung age... Ive had every beer that south africa has to offer and now im in the UK and i have expanded my beer experiences even further and the reality of the situation is that BLACK LABEL is the best fucking beer in the world...... Nothing can compare, whoever disagrees is insane.....

Thomas, what are you talking about? Yes the reinheidsgebot did exist, but that was to stop all the maize being used in beer instead of bread! No major brewer brews according to it as all of them use maize! Anyway, as far as Zamalek is concerned, it is a brilliant beer, the most refreshing beer by far. And as for the experts, it has won more awards than I care to mention.(3 times grand champion!)

Yea is a great beer and being from South Africa when I arived in the US I thought well at least I can get a good beer. Man was I wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Benn here 11 years and am yet to see one
Love your grammar and spelling, Francois! Anyway, you guys obviously have not the slightest clue when it comes to beer - this I can deduce from you liking BLACK LABEL! What a crap, crap beer! The only country that knows anything about beer is Germany; ok, for that matter, any country that brewes according to the 1516 Reinheits Gebot (thats purity law for those of you who are a little historically challenged). Seriously, try a good German beer - and I dont meet Becks or anything else that is mass produced. Try Warsteiner, Bitburger (#1 no doubt), Krombacker, Fetzer (AUT), etc. Those are proper beers that will a) put you in your place and b) taste DAMN FINE, just like beer should! Good luck and forget Castle, Lion and Black Label. Those are not beers. Those are piss water!
i used to live off this drink, till i found out it was made by a canadian company!!!! yes its true!!! ahhhh
ive drunk all the south african beers whilst i stayed there. now that ive moved to the uk ive missed black label so much. ive only had 1 black label whilst ive been here. you can get all the other sa beers in the uk except for our favourite blackies in quart bottles. man i miss it.
Awesome beer, only SA one that i liked. now living in Aus, can't get it here :-( which makes me sad 'coz no other beer is as good as Black Label!!!
I think Carling Black Label is not the best beer, but the best poison to drink in Msanzi(South Africa). It is always our first priority; it gets us drunk the way we want to (that is, "WASTED") and also is affordable to the African individual. Say whatever you want to say about Black Label, but it is our best poison.

hei there !! Castle is really sh*tty. BLACK LABEL = best beer I have ever drank. I will really miss it when i get back to NL .... Do you guys know if & where I could get some nice souvenirs, like posters???

i'd have to disagree with evryone here and say that Black Label is the worst beer i have ever tasted and drank in my life. I have been drinking all kinds of diffrent beers for many jears now and i cant say as i like black label one bit.
Hi there myself and friend are in the UK and we have tried so many different beers and largers...but none of them come close to BLACK LABEL. So we want to know if we can import from south africa.
I drink BLACK LABEL beer for the last 2 jears and tride 2 drink castel but it dosent come to CARLING BLACK LABEL.I worke at CHRISTAL SPRINGS MOUNTEN LODGE in the bar for 1jear and 2 months and there is nothing that gets 2 BLACK LABEL beer!!!!!!!!!!!!
