Amstel lager - Review from Mark Lowell

I grew up around AMSTEL beer, and there is no comparisson to Amstel-Light, which is the only brand marketed in the United States. I resent the fact that, if I want to purchase AMSTEL here, I have to settle for the colored, tasteless water called Amstel Light. Recent trips to Johannesburg and to Swaziland, as well as a trip to Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles restored my faith that "OUT THERE" it is still possible to purchase, drink and enjoy REAL AMSTEL LAGER.
