obviously... all of you 1 star or 5 star rating have no idea what your talking about. cass stands out from other korean beers because its 100% non pasteurized which means it has a fizzy straight from the draft taste. it is a unique approach and fills a very small but grateful niche in the korean beer market. now... if you say you hate korean beer all together.... dont drink it, theres no need to dog on it and say stupid sh*t. i can say plenty of reasons why american beer is awful, but i wont cuz AWFUL describes it completely. SUCK A NUTT

obviously if you dont like cass, you dont have to drink it, so just dont drink it. the real reason that cass stands out from other beers is that its 100% non-pasteurized. its a DRAFT beer in a BOTTLE. the beer itself taste light, and thats the taste most people prefer in Korea, where its made and most of it is sold. if your in america or where ever, dont be trying new shit without being considerate of where it's from and who it is intended for. go drink your thick beers that have so much flavor and taste and get fat at get no pussy. sit on your couch and write more hate mail about cass. you will never understand "taste"

Cass (and the other Korean beers) is the absolute worst stuff in the world. I'm dumbfounded that people could give this anything more than 1 star. It's bad enough to have to drink Cass, but to have no real alternatives is a shame. The imported beers here are expensive and frankly not all that great. And anyone who says American beers suck has obviously never been to America. The best stuff is made by small microbreweries with very limited distribution. I've been all over Europe, and American microbreweries are much better than European beers, because they're set in their traditional ways and can't innovate, while American breweries are always trying to one up each other. Korean beers, however, are stuck in their own 7th level of taste hell.

I would really love to tell about my felling to the CASS and all here, I really love CASS even i never drink.... I don't like drinking but I really love CASS. especially I would really satisfy with the promotion of CASS ( TIK TOK & KISS ) ..... I would really want to be a STAR for CASS... I wish one day my DREAM would be true....

I never drink lagers, but...this worked. I'm an IPA, IIPA and IIIPA guy who drinks stouts, porters and barleywine most of the year. But I also like spicy food and I'll say that the Cass paired well with a very spicy lunch today. Don't think I'd drink it solo like the high gravity beers I drink back in san diego, but really, it fit here in seoul this week. cheers!

Insane. Anyone who has tried OB, Cass or Hite and still believes its drinkable should clearly see a tasteologist, because you have not idea what your talking about. I've never tried worse beer, anywhere, ever. Don't bother. Spend a few extra 1000 won (in korea) and by something imported.

I tried cass beer today because it was one of the cheepest beers on display and I watched the commercials made for it. After i took the first sip all i could think of was diluted beer with water. It's alright for people starting to drink beer but there's hardly any taste at all. Though it does fill you up. Overall it just tastes diluted.

I try to like cass but I just can't in fact I can't like any korean beer for staters its only 4% alc. not 6 and for those who don't know, OB own Cass, im not saying that OB is better oh no, im just saying OB actually aquired Cass beer.

i'm from los angeles, so i've drunk gallons of OB and Hite. *shrug* about as good as budweiser. When I got to the ROK, i avoided Cass cuz i didn't recognize it. But when i tried it for the first time, Daaaaang! it's sweet! like sugary. i like that. I totally prefer it now to either OB or Hite. And Cass Red? it's *awesome* at 6.7% alkyhall.

As a Canadian in Korea we say, Cass is ass, Hite is right, but really they both are terrible.

does anyone know where i can buy Cass in the UK? I tried it on a recent trip to sth korean and thought it was the best thing since sliced bread!
*****
cass is fucking awsome, cass is a sound koreans make after drinking you fucking british idiot! PSh surname, idiot...

Cass beer carries my surname as well, which is perhaps why i tried it in the first place. I haven't had the experience of dirty socks or fermaldehyde in any can I have opened. I have however found it to be along the lines od coors light, maybe a little lighter than that. My roommate and I find it to be a good beer and are wondering why some of you know what fermaldehyde tastes like!!

Hey folks. I am researching information about world beer prices. Can somebody tell me the average store price of a can of Cass beer? I need to know the number of milliliters (mL) in the can, too. Thanks!

All americanz are weak piss drinkers who wouldn't know a primo quality beer if it ran screaming down the road with flashing lights on and then purposely flickd up and hit them on the forehead ! Real BEER is not a shandy ( half beer - half lemonade )mate :) I am not kidding ! Originally I am from the UK, which ( let's be honest here ! ) has always produced the finest beer. I love beer, I am 36 now and have drunk an ocean of beer in my time. I can't help myself, have even had it on my cornflakes a few times. Over the years I can say I have tried nearly every type in the world ! My favourite in all the world is CASS Beer and it also happens to be my family name :) !

Cass is not the best I've ever had, but it's not the worst either. I do agree with the "Gass" comment. You'll rip the most ass after a night out on the Cass. I use it as a pick up line with the ladies. It's my family name, and even though I'm sure you think it's lame, it has worked more than once! I will say it's better than Hite or OB. I will be happy to go back home and never drink either one of these shite beers again!

Anyone who thinks Cass is a good beer has clearly been raised on a diet of piss. Korean beer, like American beer, is the liquid equivalent of making love in a boat – it’s f**king close to water! Do your mouth a favor, get to your nearest microbrewery and start sampling, or at the very least invest in a few bottles of Kostricher, Duvel, Leffe, Hoegaarden, Erdinger, Stella, Guinness or Beamish (better on draft), Mongozo Banana Beer, Sam Adams, Heineken Dark, Becks Dark, Baltika…If you’re in Korea, most of these can be found at CostCo, E Mart, Lotte Mart, Wa Bar, Ho Bar, 3 Alleys, Haddon and Dandy’s supermarkets in Itaewon…

Cass is awesome. It is crisp, golden, crisp and very golden. No wait a minute...well, I've lived in Korea for almost six years now, and sometimes I hate Cass and me thinks it tastes like fizzy tapwater...but sometimes during summer, I really enjoy cracking open a sweet bottle of the Cass...why? Because, there is so little good beer here in Korea that Cass is basically the best. In Seoul, there are three microbreweries which make/serve amazing beer, but I live on Jejudo (a little island off the coast) and we only get Cass, Hite (Shite) and OB (=Oh Boy I 'm gonna barf).

Im not really a huge beer drinker, but my wife and i had some of this beer. it was actually pretty good.

This is a good Korean beer. But...if you liked this, try to find some Hite (better) or O.B. (best) for Korean beer. I'm not a fan of American beer, so I find Korean beer to have more taste.
*****
Ok can I just say, not all Americans are sucky and brainwashed by pee lagers?? I lived in LA for several years and got the best beer of KoreaTown, one of the biggest enclaves of Koreans outside of Korea and let me tell ya, ALL korean beer is good, and Cass is one of my favorites! Hite is good OB is ok, but please, These hippies who dare say Cass sucks are just foolish.
*****
Alex, you have no idea what you are talking about. Cass is one of the nicest beer in this small planet. if you think if taste like Sxxt. Try Tui or Lion Red ... you might not get it from the US.

Greeeat Beer.. what are you on about?

To reviewer Joe above -- you're an alcoholic, and a knucklehead. You have to drink this swill for 10 hours to realize you're not getting a buzz?
*
Bad! Bad! Bad! Hangover after one beer if you can finish it. Distinct taste of formaldahyde.
*
Frankly, it is usually skunky, although it is non-pasteurized. All South Korean beer is bad, this is on the lower end though. I still drink it often due to availability and the fact that it is still beer. If you need a beer and you can find it in a can, go for it, if it's in a plastic bottle, avoid at all costs.

I found a shop in Melbourne that sells cass , it is great very refreshing and crisp and to the american who rates asian beer as swill ,is he joking Asian beer rates second to only to Australian and European beer American beer is all as weak as piss and tastes like water and it is like drinking beer mix with lemonade or 7 up and in Australia we call this a Shandy and women drink it .

What are ya'll talking about? I just had some for the first time last night! It was goooood!
*
A genuinely terrible beer. Only to be drunk when extremely cold and there is absolutely nothing else to drink. I have had one can every 20 minutes for about 10 hours and failed to get anything resembling a buzz.

The CASS brand beer carries my surname (don't know why, because CASS is British - surely not Korean). Anyway - agreed that it tastes like dirty socks in clorox.. Alan Cass
****
Its a fairly tasty asian beer. I prefer it out of the package, not draft. Draft tastes like dirty socks but for approximatley .50 cents a pint, you cant complain.
Good lord man, Cass beer is terrible! I shudder to think of what your regular beer of choice is in the states if you find Cass appealing. If you want a real beer, try Budvar, which was the original Budweiser before the American company took the name, and sued the Chezh company who started it. The only great beers are from Europe and the UK. Asian beer is swill.

Very tasy golden lager; similar to Kirin Ichiban or Tsing Tao; smooth, hoppy flavor; just a great, largely unknown, hard to find beer; at least in the US. I only can find it in San Francisco Bay area. My only other Korean beer experience was with OB Beer; also quite good! Seek out Cass, it's awesome!
