Had my first julbrew upon arrival at the Gunjur Beach Lodge where i stayed. Beer just as excellent. Light, refreshing, served ice cold, after a day out watching the sun set into the ocean with a Julbrew was a match made in heaven. . Also tried the stronger ones...also good but I just prefer the regular. Took some bottles home.

Whilst trawling the beaches in search of maro we happened across the tasty brew, Julbrew. Who would have thought the Gambian native brew would be so cheap and tasty! Make it available in the UK and we'll definitely buy it.

While in The Gambia developing properties near Kololi Beach, I purchased the local brew, and was simply blown away by the staggering taste. Julbrew was refreshing, tasty, and quenched my thirst everytime. Would definitly buy ' The Brew ' if it was sold in my native Canada. Next time I go to The Gambia, I know what I'll be ordering from the bar....... 1 Julbrew Please Sil Vous Plait !!!!

Very suprising, that in such a poor country like Gambia you can find such an exellent beer like JulBrew. Realy smooth in taste, lite and refreshing.

In hot hot gambia one of the finest adventures is downing half a pint of JULBREW in a few seconds when your tongue is as fat and dry as a cactus. This kicks respected beer makes like stella out of the water. I loved it and i'd by it here if they sold it. My only doubt is that maybe my judgement was clouded by how thirsty i was everyday ..............but i dont think so!!!

Very good beer. I was surprised to find a fine beer like this in The Gambia. Julbrew Export is the finest (alc. 5,5%), but the original is also good (4,7%).
