nic beer. no hangover. you can buy in tesco.
efes has it's unique taste that no other turkish beer's hasn't. the fat bottle of efes almost famous as coca-cola bottle.
I'm 67 years old, I've visited dozens of countries all around the world, and drunk a lot of beer in a lot of places. Maybe it's some kind of eurocentric chauvinism, but it was a surprise to find a really excellent beer in Turkey.
This beer ranks with Pilsner Urquell and other top beers.
The draft beer is tops, bottled is good, canned a bit less good, but still ok.
I'm wondering how it ages as it slowly works it's way to Vermont, where I'll continue to drink it!

Being from the U.S., which mediocre beer anyway, I am in Turkey for my first time and encountered this beer. I think it's pretty damned good!
This stuff is unhygienic and tasteless. The worst of the Turkish beers if you can call it beer.
This is the best beer iin the world! There is nothing better in life than spreading yourself out on the beach in Olu Deniz watching the parachutes come in with a big cold bottle of Efes!!

This is lager is lush me and my m8 drank it all the time when we went to turkey and we still drink it in wales and we are going back in july to drink even more of it.
if you are a beer lover and not obsessed on a single brand than the only thing you shoud do is to order an efes pilsen in Turkey.You will love it and ask for another.

Simply the best beer Ive ever tasted... The Turks have enlisted the expertiese of a german, Dr Horst Muller..the former Becks Brewmaster..They are virtually selfsufficient in raw materials with their own wells to draw water & farm most of their own Malt & Barley.. A tiny amount of rice is added in the brewing process and this takes away the bitterness of the hops for a very smooth delightful finish...strongley recommended to all...

I think this beer is the one of the best out there, especially if you are in for a blonde lager and pils brewed type of beer. The after taste is definitely not bitter and its easy to drink, nice and crisp....

Tasted this crap while my US Navy ship was ported in Mamaris, Turkey. I'm opened minded and will eat/drink anything. Just not this.
