I have got used to Efes because it is the cheapest beer and if you live here then you have to get used to it because in some bars and cafes it's the only option. There are other beers that are brewed locally from foreign firms and Tuborg is one of them. In general they are not bad but if I could afford to drink foreign imported beers all of the time then I probably would. Efes beer easy on the pocket and does the trick if you feel like getting drunk.
For me this is the best beer but havent tried them all yet.
It's got a crisp refreshing after taste, you can get this beer also from most wetherspoon's.
efes is the best beer ever! anybody else out there feels same get urselves 2 ur nearest morrisons for a pint for a pound bargain!
heyy just thought i would say.......Efes is a good beer...i usually dont like beer but this is the only one i can drink

One of my favourite beers behind the fabulous Polish stuff. Great crisp taste, delicious ice cold in a good glass in sunny Turkey. At 5% the kick is just about spot on. Definitely an underrated beer.
EFES is a excellent beer better than san migule which i drink daily it has a more refreshing taste.
Excellent beer, it helped to make our holiday, we certainly drunk lots of it and would definatly go back for more!!!
was drinking efes most of the time in turkey, it goes down easy ! its pretty smooth and at 5% its not too strong... you dont get drunk too soon! ...unless you go on the raki after. 27/5/2006
It is the best local beer in Turkey. Maybe it si not the best other than world beer but it is good.
