I have been searching for the last few days to get my usual Tennents Velvet, no one seems to sell it anymore. Have been to all the supermarkets, nothing. What's happening, it's the only one I like.

I discovered Tennents Velvet some years ago in Scotland. Since I visit frequently, I get to revive my memories of this excellent ale on every occasion. A close 2nd to it would be Malta's Blue Lable smooth 'n' creamy on draught.

Fantastic probably one of the nicest ales I've had. Travel to Scotland regularly but can never find anywhere at home that does the pint or even a can of it.

Velvet is one of the best beers I have ever had! If any one knows how to get some in the US please post it here!!!!! I was in Scotland with my g/f about 2 years ago and fell in love with Velvet. I have been looking some one that carries Velvet ever since with no luck :( So if any one knows a website or some way tobuy Velvet in the US please let me know by posting it! Thanks!

TennantsVelvet has a flavor that is hard to match, I was very suprised and pleased having tried it on a whim. The wife was of the same opinion.

I just returned from a vacation to England and Scotland. As that I am a new imbiber of inport beers during the last couple of years, my thoughts were that all English beers/ales were of the taste of Guiness, which is way tooooo damn strong for me. I very much enjoyed discovering Tennent lager and the Velvet. My fiance' is not a beer drinker at all, but she tried the Velvet and loved it. I drank both of them and throughly enjoyed them both. I've found the Tennent Lager in the ABC Liquor stores here in the Tampa Bay area, but haven't foung the Velvet yet. The Velvet is a wonderfully smooth beer, much like Boddington, that I really love too.

I visited Scotland in Nov 04 and tryed Tennents Velevet Ale on a whim. Not typically a ale drinker, I found this brew to be my staple for my stay. Sweet, full bodied, and what else but a velvety texture. I've located the lager in the states but no sign of the Velvet Ale....yet.
