the nastiest beer on a pump anywhere horrible cloying flavour, metallic tones and a lack of any discernable hop character, utterly horrid - I think the Landlord who gave it a 9 was desperately hoping to boost sales
Courage Best is my guest beer, which I am doing a minnium of 4*18 a week, my customers love it, and tells me is better now than in the Courage Days
Courage Best (& Courage Directors) is now (since 2007) brewed by Wells & Youngs and actually tastes like it used to in the 60s, not like the cheep rubbish made in yorkshire and given the Courage name.
Mass-produced rubbish. It has a metallic taste and I no longer drink it. If I go to a pub that has Courage Worst then it's because someone else chose to go there. I won't drink Courage when there are Fullers pubs in my area. I'll stick to lager.
