A tasteless beer with a plastic spherical valve inside the can. Is there a refund for the plastic device, and if so where do I mail it?

Drink it all day every day. Now widely available in Singapore most in cans but some pubs have it on draft. Like that it is a lighter ale. Not so heavy and creamy like Old Speckled Hen ir Kilkenny.

A good Britsh Bitter, nice creamy body. One of the few that is widely available in the US. Not overly price for an import either.

I find this beer is magic, but thats me and my opinion.but, when I had to pay an extra 8 pence per pint this morning I was shocked. £2.08 per pint, thats 4% rise. yesterday the government put my pension up £2.20 per week and that was not 4%. I am talking about Boddingtons from the pump.

Passable bitter, though another victim of the lamentable move towards "creamflow" or "tapstream" by British bitter makers. Pasteurisiing (i.e. killing) the beer, and then pushing it through lager pumps and a nozzle to make it froth up is no way to treat beer. Whoever came up with it should be shot. Taste-wise, Boddy's is pretty non-distinct - no particular strength of malt or hops to pick up on, just rather bland. If you're coming to the UK, you can do much better than this.

I'm in Canada, the "pub style" ales, draught and the like have taken off here. People are right potty about them...the widget inside the tin gets them. Boddington is NOT a bitter, as one reviewie said, its simply not.I'm in a town of 3700, in a bible-belt...the church folk think drink=hell. I drink, smoke cigars and go to church...I'm an odd chap here. The point is, little choice for us. What is a decent English bitter I could have brought in? I'm fond of Ruddles best bitter but can't get it. Cheers

Drank lots of the stuff when I lived in Manchester. Not my personal favourite but passable. Brewed in the Strangeways brewery, which must be hell for the inmates of the nearby prison of the same name who must get to smell the beer fumes every day.

Manchester brewed beer, Best Bitter to drink in the North West of England, before Worthy's, John Smiths! Great Advertisements for It!
