Boddingtons - Review from Pat Kingsbury

Passable bitter, though another victim of the lamentable move towards "creamflow" or "tapstream" by British bitter makers. Pasteurisiing (i.e. killing) the beer, and then pushing it through lager pumps and a nozzle to make it froth up is no way to treat beer. Whoever came up with it should be shot. Taste-wise, Boddy's is pretty non-distinct - no particular strength of malt or hops to pick up on, just rather bland. If you're coming to the UK, you can do much better than this.
