This was my favourite beer for a long time, light, very hoppy and refreshing. However, I think the recipe changed early 2007, it seemed to have a cheaper more creal flavour?
Still a good summer bitter
i find it strange that in Britain we produce many of the greatest beers in the world, yet we also produce quite a few of the worst (Carling, 'UK Carlsberg' etc etc). Does any other country produce such extremes of quality? Deuchars is very much towards the top of the pile; sessionable, light & refreshing. Can be drunk at anything from room temperature (get the full taste) or even chilled from the fridge and guzzled down like lager, although this is a bit of a waste! Tastes good from the bottle, is AWESOME if u can find it on draught (which i find hard down South!). I think its one of the best 10 beers that u can find nationwide...
