I always keep Shiner in my fridge, Blonde, Bock, Kolsch, Light, Hefe-weizen and hopefully an Alt in the near future. This is a great beer and everyone should try it. I lived in Germany for 3 years and this is the closest to the original I have found, it is great!!!
I really enjoy Shiner Bock. It's inexpensive, with a deep amber color, smooth on the palate & with a clean finish. Brewed at the Spoetzl Brewery in Shiner, Texas.
In addition to the original Shiner Bock, there is an entire family of Shiner beers including the much revered Shiner Winter Ale. Phenomenal taste and body, Shiner has throngs of fans througout Texas and beyond. As I'm getting older and metabolism slows, the original Shiner tends to stick to my mid-section more readily, but I've found a perfect replacement in Shiner Light. All the Shiner taste, great beer.
This stuff is just good beer, plain and simple.
Shiner Bock is an excellent beer! I always try to pick up a few cases to bring home when I am in Texas visiting family.
This is by far the best beer out there.

After four years in Texas, I am a huge Shiner fan...especially Shiner Bock. This is the best brew I have ever tasted!
Go Shiner!
