Had Lowenbrau on draught near Salisbury few weeks ago, really interesting taste, we couldn't put our finger on it, seems almost to have a hint of blue-cheese taste(in a good way believe or not!) It doesn't taste the same out of a can, although its still pretty good.
Like Carlsberg w/o the hint of sulphur after taste. Apparently BOth Carlsberg and Lowenbrau were much more popular in the states round 60-70s when my dad was partying but they'v since been out maneuvered by Budwieser and Miller. FYI when drinking for value and quantity go Miller Lite, the slogan
