Delicious and fresh! by astrid
We stayed at Totem Hotel recently (Early March 2009.) We loved our 2nd floor suite, with the waves crashing just outside our terrace. Breakfast was included, and was always fine -fresh fruits, bread, cheese, coffee/tea and a selection of hot food (gallo pinto, eggs, etc.) Our expectations were far surpassed when we had dinner one night. The young Italian chef, Nicolo prepared fresh grilled tuna for me, and it was absolutely delicious. My husband had home made farfalle with vegetables, and it was yummy! Another day we had coffee and dessert - a fresh cake with mango that was delectable! And, Limoncello at the end of a meal makes for a mellow evening!
Our two-storey Restaurant Mediterraneo has a spectacular terrace overlooking the sea, and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everything is homemade here, including bread, pasta, Romagnola piadina ( flat bread typical of Italy’s Emilia Romagna region ),and desserts. You will find a very friendly atmosphere where tropical elements combined all together create a nice environment for your dinner. Choose from our menu among the several salads, or different kind of pasta as spaghetti, ravioli, tagliatelle…seasoned with the seafood.
