Superb restaurant; amazing game meat by Tim Challer
I have been to many restaurants in Europe, America & Africa. But I must admit, The Lawns has become one of my favorite restaurant.
Food is amazing, very delicious; Service is relatively best in East Africa; Ambiance - best in town.
I love their Game meat selections-Crocodile Tikka Masala, Sizzling Kudu, Ostrich Burger, Game meat kebabs, tandoori game meat platter, Game steak etc.
A must visit restaurant.
I have been to many restaurants in Kenya & Uganda, but this is the best restaurant. I am generally not a great fan of Game meat because of its distinct flavor, but I must admit Lawns chef have some finest recipes for Game meat. Ostrich Kofta Curry is my favorite. I love its ambiance & service.
The Lawns offers wide varieties of international food, with some twist creating fusion delights. It is the only restaurant in Uganda to offer wide range of Game Meat options - Ostrich, Kudu, Springbok, Impala, Crocodile. Try their Sizzling Kudu or Ostrich Burger or Game Meat Platter... Great ambiance & service!! Thumbs up to The Lawns!!
