| Argentina Travel Guide for backpackers |

| The snow topped mountains and humid green forests take your mind of the daily crises of Argentina where a lot has gone down recently with the economy and political problems, but it is still a very beautiful country to visit. There are benefits for travelers that emerge from the problems such as -great travel discounts and full lunches for about US$5. Then there is soccer or football, what ever you call it, this is the passion of this otherwise stressed out country. |

Iguazu Falls - Be mesmerized by the 70m (230ft) falls, that can be found in the Parque Nacional Iguazu near Puerto Iguazu, Just above the falls you can also enjoy water sports like canoeing and kayaking.
Andean Northwest - Natural attractions, archaeological sites, subtropical forests and desert canyons are but a few reasons to visit this fantastic place.
Patagonia - Come and admire the Sea lions, elephant seals, guanacos, rheas, Magellanic penguins, sea birds, flamingos and right whales and many more in their natural habitats.
Cuyo - What makes this an attraction is the wine, you can also go climbing and hiking. Many of the tourists stop over for the sporting activities.
Buenos Aires - busy streets, small hidden cafes and stylish restaurants this is where you will find the youth and their die-hard attitudes.

DAILY BUDGET in ARGENTINA - Try camping and preparing your own meals if you are on a budget, you will be amazed at just how much you can save. Your accommodation should cost about US$9-35 and meals about US$3-10. So surviving on US$50 a day should be easily done. |
| Well that depends on what you are after, if it is the skiing you are after then Mid June to late September would be your best bet but if climbing and hiking is your thing then make sure you go in summer (December to February) but on the whole, any season is good for visiting Argentina. |
