DAILY BUDGET in BARCELONA - Spain is one of Europe's more affordable countries. If you are particularly frugal and stay in the cheapest accommodation it's possible to scrape by for around $25 a day. A more comfortable budget would be $48 a day, allowing for a basic hotel room, set meals, public transport and entry to museums. |

La Rambla - A tree-lined pedestrian boulevard, often referred to as the greatest street in the world. Packed with mime artists, colourful market traders, buskers and street theatre.
Barri Gotic - An enchanting maze of dark streets crammed with cafes, bars and the cheapest accommodation in town. Spend a day wandering amongst awesome medieval buildings. Visit the Barri Gotic’s Cathedral.
Parc Guell and Casa-Museu Gaudi - This park is a perfect example of Antonio Gaudi’s architecture The Casa Museu Gaudi features furniture, memorabilia and plans of unfinished projects. Admission: free.
La Sagrada Familia Cathedral - Old arquitecture, amazing designes, spectacular view; 3 words to describe this amazing piece of art and arquitecture. Enjoy the view of the city from the top of the tower.

Arc Cafe - With plenty of newspapers to flick through and floor-to-ceiling windows, this is a great place for breakfast. For lunch there is a reasonable selection of Mediterranean dishes and the odd special.
Bliss - Bliss has three spaces: one for lunch; another for lounging on animal-print sofas leafing through magazines and tables outside on the tiny Plaça Sant Just. Filled baguettes, ‘pizzetas’, cakes and brownies are available all day.
Cafe Paris - This popular cafe is always a lively place to kill time. The tapas are excellent, the beer is cold, and the place is open 365 days a year. Daily 6 AM-2 AM.

Bikini – Deu I Mata – This nightlife haunt draws the crowds; with at least two dance floors can listen to any kind if music including rock, indie, funk and much, much more.
Cafe Dietrich – Consell de Cent – For the best drag strip shows Cafe Dietrich is still Barcelona’s most groovy gay haunt.
La Paloma – Tigre 27 – If you want to experience something different then Barcelona’s most famous dance hall will give the tango, foxtrot, mambo and the cha-cha.
xixbar - rocafort 19 - Quite stravagant bar in the middle of the eixample (close 2 paralelo). Best Gintonics in Barcelona. Most than 20 gins and big big ambience.

CDLC - Carpe Diem Lounge Club - This i a really nice party place, all diffrent kinds of music. But mostly a very good mix of the latest and old versions of hip hop and R&B music. Try to get in contact with Lo mejor de Barcelona.
Lempika - Cosy and coo, between the Raval and Sant Antonio. Sophisticated but laid back, warm but cool, vibrant but relaxed...try cava and mango cocktail and pear and chees salad! www.lempika.es
