| Kanchiburi Travel Guide for backpackers |

| If you are old enough to remember the film ‘Bridge over the River Kwai’, then you must be one of those half bald pony-tailed hippie dudes from the dinosaur age, but, hey, if backpacking works for you then, you go Dad. Kanchanaburi is where that bridge was built and the place is full of history and reminders of the time when war came to this beautiful land. It is also a place of great scenic beauty with waterfalls, mountains, and caves where Neolithic man once lived, who were dudes even older than the hippies. |
