Munich is the largest city in the south of Germany and lies at the foot of the German Alps. This city is the capital of Germany’s high-tech industries, and has the largest number of publishing houses in the world, except for New York. The Oktoberfest is held in Munich every year in September, where the waitresses wear their traditional Bavarian costumes, making sure that all the beer- lovers glasses are never empty. Don’t forget to try the traditional German cuisine that is served at the Oktoberfest.

Marienplatz – Marienplatz is one of the most famous parts of Munich. It’s a centerpiece for the city’s festivals, celebrations and popular Christmas market. You will find the Neo-Gothic Town Hall that has a beautiful mechanical clock that plays everyday at 11:00, 12:00 and 17:00.
