Madrid - Great art, great architecture, and a great football team; Madrid seems to have grabbed everything of the best, including David Beckham, and is a five star attraction in itself.
Balearic Islands - The party animals of the world come to the sunny beaches and bouncing nightclubs of these Mediterranean islands lying between Spain and the North African coast.
Barcelona - Now a dynamic city of chic and elegance, Barcelona offers the best of fashion, food, and architecture, as well as a banging nightlife.
Bilbao - Come to this great city if only to see the fantastic Museo Guggenheim de Arte Contemporaneous, designed by United States artist Frank Gehry, and displaying the contemporary artists of the world.
Granada - The Alhambra palace in Granada is one of Islam's greatest legacy's to Europe, and set against a backdrop the magnificent Sierra Nevada Mountain range is a must-see. |

DAILY BUDGET in SPAIN - In Spain if you watch your money and make judicious decisions on what is really important, like for instance whether or not you need to eat, you might get by on US$ 23 - 25 a day with the cheapest accommodation and staying shy of bars. However for US$ 45 a day, life becomes a little more schwow, with a hotel room, real meals, public transport and seeing a few sights. For a US$118 a day, well, there will be no stopping you, with top rate accommodation, renting a car and enjoying Spanish cuisine at its finest. |

| The weather during May, June and September is good, and the tourists are few so it is an excellent time to visit Spain and avoid the crush. In January the festival of La Tamborrada takes place in San Sebastián, when the town goes daft, dressing up and having fun. Carnaval of course, takes place throughout the entire country in February, and mark heavily in your diary Spain's most famous festival, the Running of the Bulls (Sanfermines) that it takes place in Pamplona in July. |
