Rue de Bordeaux - In the pedestrian area of the rue de Bordeaux you will find mall type shops selling all manner of things.
Choo-choo train - Hop aboard the simulated choo-choo train which will give you a fifty minute tour of the city, taking in the old and the new.
Horse drawn carriages - For a really laid-back look around climb aboard one of the horse drawn carriages and take in the sights and sounds as it would have been done in years gone by.

La Rotisserie Tourangelle - 23 rue du Commerce - This ever changing menu includes such dishes as homemade foie gras and whitefish, duckling served with Chinon wine and beef cooked in port and served with mushrooms.
Le Relais Bure - 1 place de la Resistance - Reasonably priced with fair portions, you could try their six versions of sauerkraut, grilled meats, foie gras and smoked salmon.
Les Tuffeaux - 19 rue Lavoisier - Although the menu changes almost every month some of the favourites are roasted rabbit with bacon, chicken livers with raspberry vinegar and pigeon with pink grapefruit. Reasonably priced and very French.

Lounge-Bar La Villa - 24 rue de la Monnaie - Comfortable chairs, mirrors and a laid back theme, including modern French art.
Le Louis XIV - 37 rue Briconnet - a stylish bar for meeting new friends and hanging out.
Le Pyms - 170 av. De Grammont - A very loud disco scene open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10.30pm til early in the morning.
