Caribbean Coast (Venezuela) - For those of you, who live for sun and fun, this is the place to be, white-sand beaches and torques waters, make for the perfect diving, swimming or chilling spot.
Coro - drowning in 18th century architecture and cobble streets, this quite little town is a fine location for a peaceful, relaxing holiday.
Rio Orinoco - being the third longest river in South America is just one of the reasons to come here, the other may be to witness the awesome Salto Angel (Angel Falls), the world's highest waterfall.
The Andes - snow-topped mountains peaks, laced with villages and old world cultures, not to mention the hikes and trails that take you to a world like no other.
Amazon Jungle - Well we all know about the Amazon and nothing I write will do it justice but I will, deep mysterious forests and big creepy spiders are a few of the reasons to explore this wonder of the world. |

DAILY BUDGET in VENEZUELA - Camp, cook and save, but if you are not the camping type your accommodation will set you back about US$11-26 and food about US$4-8, still leaving you enough to enjoy the rest of the day chilling and missioning. There will be no problem surviving on about US$50 a day. |
| All year round is technically the right time to go but if you want to see the angel falls in all its glory the best time is in the wet season and if you are there for the trails and hikes make sure you plan your trip in the dry season, festivals are a big attraction, one of the most popular ones being Carnival, which takes place on Mon and tues preceding Ash Wednesday, but be warned finding somewhere to stay at this time of year is hard, so plan way ahead of time |
