ILLIKKALAM LAKE RESORT is the only one Affordable Resort on the bank of Vembanad Lake at Kumarakom. All Cottages of the Resort are situated on the lake side and also facing the Lake. This Resort is very beautiful, enjoyable and relaxing, as the maximum breadth and length of the Vembanad Lake is visible from here. (12 Km.breadth and 50 Km.length) You can enjoy the beautiful waves and breeze of the lake, through out the day and night. Each Cottage is having a bedroom, attached bathroom with hot and cold water, Porch (Sit-Out) to experience the lake and also having private premises up to the Lake, You can have the fishing, from the premises in front of your Cottage, just on the bank of the Lake by using the Fish Rods.
This Lake is the largest fresh water lake, in South Asia, the beautiful Sun Set can be seen from the Porch of the Cottages, Relaxing in the Hammock under the shades of the trees, enjoy the breezy air, the beautiful waves, drifting of the House Boats, Motor Boats, Speed Boats, Fishermen’s Boat etc. are unique sceneries, from the Cottages which cannot be experienced and enjoyed anywhere else. You can get into the House Boats, Motor Boats, speed Boats and the Country boats from this Resort.
