Flatdogs Camp, Mfuwe - Reviews & Contact Details

We were there in May 2008 and what a jewel of a place right at the entrance gate to the South Luangwa National Park in Zambia. We had elephant and lion in the camp whilst we were there (apart from the buck and bird species). Wonderful chalets and a wonderful restaurant and pub, serving great affordable food and the coldest frosties in the area. Camping site very neat with some tent platforms in trees! Sparkling pool to relax at and to cool down in. Sundowners alongside river, just outside the bar! Game drives every AM and PM. Excellent service from all the staff throughout our stay. Even have full time motor mechanics and an auto electrician on site! (I needed there service and that too was affordable.) Flatdogs is really worth a visit and we will return - next time for a longer stay.

Very good atmosphere and lots of wild animals wandering around the camp...elephant, giraffe and even some lions
