| I came back to my room one evening and the owner himself had moved all of my stuff to another room and taken my sheets off of my bed. I politely asked him why he did this (in French) and he yelled at me (in English) "you americans are always so greedy and expect everything!" and then threatened to throw me out of the hostel at 10 pm because I disagreed with him. I know this is one of the only hostels in Nimes, but it is not worth the cheap price. It is VERY far out of town and the staff and owner are horrible people. Instead, you should stay in another town and take a half-day trip to Nimes. |

| I have just read someone's bad review: I can only say I found the hostel very nice indeed. The first night they were full but they gave me a tent in the garden and then I had a really nice clean 4 bed room. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. It IS a couple of kilometres out from the centre, true, but you can't have everything - it's nice when you get there. |
