Our hostel is situated IN THE CENTER OF PRAGUE /DISTRICT 2/ in a historic building with great facilities. It takes just one stop by metro or 15 minutes on foot to THE OLD TOWN SQUARE - CITY CENTER. THE U Melounu hostel - At the Watermelon is a 'cheap hotel' open all year round with 24 HOUR reception. We provide accommodation for individuals backpackers, schools, groups, couples or families. The hostel has 65 beds - private rooms WITH OWN bathroom (2-4 beds), with common bathroom(2-5 beds), rooms in apartments and DORMS are six bedded! All rooms are nice and comfortable with clean bathrooms. BREAKFAST is included in the price. The hostel has only one floor and right in the middle is a beautiful GARDEN - courtyard. Recommended by LET'S GO & LONELY PLANET. Our historical neighbourhood is preserved under the laws of Prague's historical monument conservation UNESCO and it is a safe and quiet part of town. On Ke Karlovu street you will find Antonin Dvorak's museum. By the way A.EINSTEIN spend plenty of time at one faculty which is around the corner from us - it was during his stay in Prague 1911.
