Clean, good location and reasonable rate.

our WESTEND CITY HOSTEL reopened after a complete renovation in april 2002. the original “Hotel Westend” was built in the year 1876 and is counted on as one of the oldest hotels in Vienna. the name “westend” was given at that time because of the close location of the Westbahnhof (trainstation West) where all travelers from western regions arrive. therefore we decided to keep this symbolic name after the reopening of our hostel. the idea to create, out of a traditional and historical hotel, an accessible facility for the younger generation, gave us the motivation to combine historical architecture and old Viennese spirit hand in hand with modern colorful interior designs and comfortable equipment. Our friendly and skillful international crew will be more than happy to provide you with all information about happening places, events, sightseeing etc.
