The Gothic Point hostel was a great place to stay. The people there were friendly, however the place seemed to be perpetually understaffed - you usually had to wait in line at the desk. The free breakfast was great - lots of choices. The rooms were really cool - I really enjoyed the privacy that the loft set-up with the curatins gives you. You can keep your light on and do other things without directly disturbing anyone else. The bathrooms were in good condition, and the free internet was definitely nice. We also took the walking tour they offered, which was a nice cheap way to familiarize ourselves with Barcelona. The only downfalls are that its pretty noisy at night, inside and out, even though quiet hours are "enforced". I also think that there was an extra charge for actual blankets, which we didn't pay for, so we were a little chilly at night. But they do include fitted sheets and a pillow case. I would recommend this hostel to anyone staying in Barcelona.

Gothic Point is a lively hostel in the very centre of the city. We are located just 150 metres from the Picasso Museum. Only 2 minutes walking to Las Ramblas.
We have designed the hostel to combine collectivity with privacy and comfort. As a result in the rooms our guests have their own individual cubicule with the bed, individual reading light, plug and a locker.

The Gothic Point Hostel is placed in the heart of Barcelona Gothic area, surrounded by bars, restaurants, and in the middle of the shopping area. What about Las Ramblas?? It’s just 2 minutes walking from the hostel: the famous and unforgettable meeting point of Barcelona, with all kind of shops, cultures, bars . . .
The hostel is placed 30m. from the metro station Jaume I (Line 4 - yellow line).
From the airport Barcelona El Prat:
take the train to Barcelona Sants Station, and then the Subway line 5 – Blue line to Verdaguer station , and the L4 ( Yellow ) to Jaume I.
From the airport Girona –Costa Brava
take the bus to Barcelona - Plaça Tetuan, then take the metro L4 – Girona Station (in the cross section of Girona Street and Consell de Cent.) It takes 1 hour and 30 minutes, the bus single ticket is 9 € and the metro 1,1 € .
