We've just come back from a one-week-trip to Barcelona and we really enjoyed our stay.
The Sea Point is the best hostel I've been to yet. The location is indeed perfect as it's just a minute to the beautiful beach and near to the port and a bus station so you can go to the city centre easily. The facilities are simple (it's a youth hostel, not a hotel), but better than in other hostels, and clean (just a bit loud in the bedrooms sometimes).
And the staff is great so the atmosphere was also fine. We didn't expect this hostel to be so good and really recommmend it.
Placed in front of one of the most popular beaches of Barcelona, you will never forget Barcelona sunrises and sunshines from our bar. Sea Point Hostel has restaurants and bars all around.
The Sea Point hostel is a lively hostel located in front of the beach and only 10 minutes walking to Las Ramblas and the City Center.
The building has been recently refurbished and each dorm has its own bathroom inside, we have dorms of 4, 6 and 8 people. There's also a bar in the lobby where you can just have a beer and relax in front of a magnificent view of the beach and the sea.

From the airport Barcelona – El prat
Train to “Plaza Catalunya” – there bus stop at “Corte Inglés/Fontanella” Bus 17 to “Plaza del Mar – Pg. Joan de Borbó” (1 minute walking to the hostel).
From the airport Girona – Costa Brava
Bus to Barcelona “Plaça Tetuan” , there take the metro line 2 to “Passeig de Gràcia”, then Line 4 to “Barceloneta“ , the hostel is 10 minutes walking along “Passeig Joan de Borbó”
By Metro
Line 5 (blue) to Verdaguer station and Line 4 (yellow) to Barceloneta station, from the station, 10 minutes walking along Pg. Joan de Borbó to the “Plaza del Mar”.
Subway + Bus
Line 1 (red) to “Plaza Catalunya” – Bus stop at “El Corte Inglés/Fontanella”, Bus: 17 to “Plaza del Mar – Pg. Joan de Borbó”, (1 minute walking to the hostel).
