Located in the center of the city, just 2 minutes away from the famous 'Puerta del Sol' where the centre of Spain is (or at least that's what people from Madrid say). In the heart of the shopping and party area of the city.
We have singles, doubles, triples, quads and dorms of 6 people. All of them with private facilities and T.V.
This classic spanish 'hostal' has been refurbished in order to provide a lively atmosphere and comfort.
We have a huge common room, where you can find all the information available of the City ( is there is something going on you'll find it here! ). You can also eat there, use our broadband internet computers, watch TV, listen to music or just have a beer and relax looking over one of the most fashionable streets in Madrid: The Gran Via.

All type of restaurants are placed near us, French cuisine in La Dame Notre, multicultural cooking in Inshala, Senegalese cuisine in Kilimanjaro, Spanish typical in Museo del Jamón,. . . And a long list etc.
Like dancing??? Looking for best Madrid places to go at night?? If you like flamenco shows, you can enjoy at Carboneras, or at Las Tablas, . . . but if you prefer night clubs, well, a long list could be here, but try Joy, El sol, Pachá, Kingston, La comedia . . . .
The list will never ends; tea shops, coffee shops, museums . . . Ask at our reception staff, and you’ll be informed about all this.
The Hostel Metropol is placed 15 meters in front of metro station “Gran Via” – Line 1
From the Airport Madrid-Barajas take the metro Line 8 (Nuevos ministerios – Barajas) to Nuevos ministerios stop. Then take Line 10 to Tribunal stop, and finally L1 to Gran Via... This way could take 40 minutes and the cost of a single ticket is 1, 15 €.
From Atocha train station take L1 directly to Gran Via Station. The ticket cost 1, 15 € and it coust take less then 10 minutes.
From Chamartin train station take L10 to Tribunal stop, then L1 to Gran Via. The ticket cost is 1, 15€ and it could take about 20 minutes.
