This hostel was pretty appalling! No lockers in the rooms and the room remained mostly unlocked during our stay. The only lockers were in the reception area, where the lock actually fell out of the locker we had to hire! Communal toilets with no locks on the doors. The showers were also mixed and had shower curtains! most of which were falling apart and the room open straight onto the corridor in full view. Apart from being the cheapest hostel out there I would def not recommend you stay here!

I would not recommend this hostel. The location is very inconvenient, there are no lockers in the rooms and the building is not particularly clean or nice.

Terrible location, not clean, not fun, TERRIBLE location!

La Ciutat is placed in the singular Gracia neighbourhood, with all kind of restaurant, like Indian, Chinese, Spanish . . . It’s also placed near the Sagrada Familia and park Güell. The hostel is placed 150m. From the metro station Joanic I (Line 4 - yellow line). From the airport Barcelona El Prat take the train to Barcelona Sants Station, and then the Subway line 5 – Blue line to Verdaguer station, and the L4 (Yellow) to Joanic. From the airport Girona –Costa Brava take the bus to Barcelona - Plaça Tetuan, then take the metro L4 – Joanic Station It takes 1 hour and 30 minutes, the bus single ticket is 9 € and the metro 1,1 € .
