Aloe Tree Backpacker Hostel, Auckland - Reviews & Contact Details

Maybe it was there a bad time, but for what reason? Saw a lot of nice pictures before comming there, but was totally dissapointed. We were searching for a place to stay from the bbhbook and aloe tree was our first choice.. we arrived at a totally messy place, had to find our way to reception through a lot of garbage in the back of the house, a girl (was she all over stoned or just out of bed?) offered a room, small, dark, uncosy. Kitchen messy too, I really do not know how they got the good bbh rating, me and my frieds went as fast as possible out there and checked in at the Lantana Lodge, same road and loved it, offers free wlan too.

dont know what you are talking about, everyone is really friendly no one was agressive but thhe baby cried when ever it looked at me. :( will probably be here for a few weeks...

it's a great place and it feels like being in a big family. the most friendly and coolest backpackers i've ever been to.

The neighbourhood is full of bars, parks and museums. We can point you in the right direction for cars, vans, trip info. We even chase the bus for you if you sleep in. Come and join us under the giant trees and feel the difference.
