Totally secure for ladies, with electronic passes for all doors and even the elevator! Really clean AND they make up your bed. TWO restaurants within the premises, towel heaters, first time for me at this budget price. Friendly staff. Towels changed daily, complete kitchen, that I didn't use, lots of outlets to recharge anything. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room in tower 2, although Symonds Street is not downtown, there was construction on that particular Saturday across the street All in all, absolutely a great place to stay.

Located in central Auckland by the University just 500m from Queen St, this newly-converted backpackers accommodation provide ensuite shared/private rooms with kitchen and bathroom in every unit. Lockable rooms come in twins, double and 2-level bunkbed of 1 to 2 people. Share to know new people, or book the whole room for privacy. Facilities include laundry, common room, restaurant, and telephone in room. Quiet environment: units are only shared between 1 to 4 people.
