Hotel Tamara, Amsterdam - Reviews & Contact Details
i was badly mistreated at tamara hotel and was asked to leave at half past 4 in the morning telling me my room was reserved for someone else.
the room was the stinkiest hotel room i ever encountered .the worst of the worst so i didnt mind so much after recovering from the shock
We stayed here Jan 06 as we had stayed here 2 years earlier and loved how cute it was - our second time around we were horrified, I dont think they have done any maintenance or improvements for a few years, the room was cramped, the bed had major roll together, and the worst part was waking in the middle of the night to the noise of rats running around under the bed! We wont be going back!
this fuckin hotel sucks!!!!! It is dirty and the beds look like they are from the second world war. The toillet looks like a crack cave. And dont forget! let the cat out!!!
I was a soldier in 1982. My buddy got lost and the two guys running the place took off and tried to help me find my friend. We never found him but we had a hell of a time in the Red Light District. I will never forget these guys, they were the best. I always wanted to thank you, so , thanks alot. Darryl Allen
We stayed in this Hotel June 06 and make the following comments:-
1> The stairs was to narrow and tricky to climb (after a night in Amsterdam)
2> No television in the room.
3> A leaky sink in Room.
4> The matres and linen could have been cleaner.
5> Room was not ensuite.
6> The staff in the Hotel informed us as guests that we could avail of a free breakfast in the Blarney Stone about 10 minutes away. We had the (tiny) breakfast and then were charged E6 for same. The Hotel staff had misinformed us.
Over all disappointing and we will not being staying there again.
I loved this hotel it wes small and cute. The price was so cheap that we were really able to have a good time in Amsterdam . The staff was really nice and we felt so at home there .It was very safe and the location was fantastic. We strongly recomend this place.
I stayed there on the 15th augest 05, it was great, well recomended, the staff are friendly and the beds are cool.
You have to pay a deposit of 10 Euro for the key, but get it bak when you return the key.
I met new friends and thank hotel tamara for that.
So to all backpackers in Amsterdam, get there.
Thanks
Cheap and nice love it go to this hotel
We are a small family run hotel in the centre of Amsterdam, five minutes walk from central station , just around the corner from Dam square, right in the middle of all the nightlife. The staff are very friendly and helpful, you will receive a free guide and map of the city when you check in. We have single, double, triple, and quad rooms plus a small dormitory. There is 24 hour reception and there is a safe available for all your valuables. There is no curfew, you can come and go when you like.
