Awful stay. Our room was infested with bed bugs. I left with itchy bugs bites all over my legs, feet and hands. We know they were bed bug bites because we woke up in the middle of the night with bed bugs crawling all over the place. The wall had this strawlike woven mateial on the walls and the bugs would crawl our from behind it onto our beds. It was pretty discusting. I would not recommend staying here unless you want to be eaten alive.

Once you get to know the manager, Papa Cesky/Papa Smurf and have a few drinks with him, you'll love the place even more! I don't really "do" hostels, but am just booking again for round 3! The best value for money!

THE BEST LOCATION IN THE TOWN! Our small family hostel is located at the edge of the historical centre of Cesky Krumlov (this fact means in Krumlov otherwice rare car access directly to the doors), next to the former EGON SCHIELE STUDIO. We are only 10 minutes walk from the castle, situated on the Vltava River bank. Garden and nice outside sitting. It is a quiet and peaceful area, where many native Krumlov inhabitants live. You will have the opportunity to meet a few of them when you visit the local pubs! We are able to accommodate about 25 people in double, triple and four bed rooms,rent you a bicycle or horse, book a boat to float through the town, give you the map of Cesky Krumlov,introduce you to Ernest Hemingway and to his Cat and more and more - you will see.........
