The person called Tony who says the dog has rabies must be a very sad individual. If you don't like a place tell us why, don't make lies up! The dog is gorgeous!!!
And the guy who says she barked all morning keeping him awake? I discovered whilst there that she desn't even stay at the hostel overnight, she is only in when the owner brings her... so maybe it was another dog in the street?

Good call about the owner. Bit my head of over taking an extra slice of toast! Cheap rooms, but with the dog barking all morning i wont be going back. Head to 'The Inn Crowd' instead, just down the road.
By far the worst place i have ever stayed. The owner is a rude, ignorant sad man who should be avoided at all costs. And the dog has rabbies. You have been warned.

I think that the prince of wales is a great, fun, clean and homley place to stay. The staff were great and the place is so well established concidering it has only been open one month keep up the great work malcolm.
Came across this place quite by accident but its great - brand new (only been open a few weeks), very clean and reasonably priced with freindly staff. Has a good bar below with regular live music, but still peacful enough upstairs to get a good nights kip after long bus journeys! (Must add here that the showers are SO good too!). Definately give it a go, the location is good too, close to most things you'll want to do and see.
Random accidental find as they say.... but very very pleased we did find it. Clean, comfortable and very friendly, and cheap as well!! Yahy... ooo and free beer (if you like that kind of thing...) could it get any better- me thinks not. Come and stay. 'tis ace. Jo, London. P.S The Pistachio Suite is the place to be..
