Dragon Inn Ah Shan Hostel, Hong Kong - Reviews & Contact Details

I stayed at this hostel for about 5 days in a HK220 room per night, for 2 person. The price is great. The people are great, friendly. Rooms are clean, with air-con and more importantly the washroom is clean. Great bargain. Only complain that the hostels are located on higher floors compared to its competitors. However, be prepared to learn some sign language as the ppl does not understand English. Luckily for me, I know Chinese. Uncle Ah Shan is a friendly person. I will be back again for my next trip to HK.

I am staying at the Dragon Inn right now as i write this review. The internet here sure is free, available at the reception and also in the common areas of the dorm blocks. It is also available for laptop users via wireless. The rooms are very very small but clean. The shared bathroom was also quite clean, The aircon rattled a little but worked fine. A light blanket and pillow is provided, also a towel toothebrush, soap and shampoo (small) The beds are rock hard, and if you go for a single they are TINY. The people are nice. One big problem i found was that when i entered through the front door of the dorm block.. where the computer is.. there is a Chinese lady sleeping right there... and of course she wakes up every time you come back to the room anytime after 11pm when she seems to go to sleep. Also she gets up at 8 am and starts making a lot of noise and cleaning and speaking to people in chinese. So be prepared for an early rise unless your a very heavy sleeper. Its in a SUPER location.. and you cant beat $180-200 HK$ really that just rock bottom for HK.
