| Frendz resort is located a two minute stroll from the white sand beach of boracay. the resorts consistts of 15 native style units with western bathrooms, some with tv and hot water. we also offer budget rooms with shared bathrooms, very inexpensive. Frendz is a fun place with free pool table, karoke, and a very reasnable priced resto/bar. Frendz is under the management of expat Aussies. |

| This is a really bad accomodation. We have paid 3000 pesos per night (4 people) for a really sub-standard accomodation. This place took the fun out of our boracay trip! PLease note that there's a lot of accomodations in Boracay that can offer a cleaner, comfortable accomodation with all the basic amenities and the rates are about the same.
First of all, the place is futher out the back of the beach. You have to walk through a very narrow, smelly, dirty and scary alleyway for a good 5 minutes.
Secondy, the bungalow room that we have rented is very dirty even after they claimed that is has been cleaned. The droppings from the ceiling is they said that something that they can do nothing about. The beds, oh my god is full of ticks and bugs! The linens are very old hence very uncomfortable. No towels or toilet paper are provided (if you want one you have to pay for them). There's no aircon (only a vry noisy electric fans) and no TV. It seems that we're back in the dark ages.
The staff? well not even 1 good thing to say about them as privacy and customer service are something that they don't know about.
Will go back or recommend? NO! Not even if this is the only place left standing in Boracay.

| Me and my girlfriend stayed at frendz resort in april this year, the resort was fully booked out when we arrived however the staff were able to place us into the backpackers dorm for the first night then we moved into one of the bungalows. I read the previous review and was shocked it is totally wrong, firstly we had great beds the linen was new the rooms were clean and all the fans I saw were also new. The resort is only a very short walk down a beach access its ok, yes its a sandy track but certainly not as the previous reviewer wrote. We thought is was great value for money when you compare other places very close to this one. I think the other reviwer has confused this resort with another. |

| I stayed there for 24 days, and i had the time of my life there, people working there is so nice, you will always get a smile and a good morning. If you want to stay in a nice and enjoyable place where you know people are happy and smile to you, then you should go here. If I want to go back to Boracay, yea, and of course no place is better then here, you get the best time when you are close to the people working there. You will feel a family feeling because people staying there smile and always is happy. The reason i stayed there for 24 days had something to do with that family feeling, i been around, but i never got a family feeling anyplace, but at the Frendz Resort, well, its the best place. I will defently stay at the Frendz Resort next time i go to Boracay, its like my second home, the best, i miss everyone working there, they are my family after this stay no matter what. They are the best people on the whole Boracay. I read the letter from the one complaining, that is so so so wrong, it dosen't take 5 minutes to the beach, maybe if you want to crawl, it takes you under 1 minute, its 200 walking step, cause i count that my self. its nice sign showing the place, there is a small path into that place. A nice place to relax not listning to the sea or people talking, its wonderful and relaxing to stay there. Many resort is close to the beach, with people everywhere, but at the Frendz Resort its nice and calm. I recomanding this place to everyone i know, they will have a nice time there, i am sure of that. Thanks to the Frendz Resort i learned something about how people working there and guests can enjoy party together, singing and smile together. Frendz Resort is the perfect family place. |

| It was a super peak season in Boracay and we had no room reserved. I and my friend were helplessly walking for three hours searching vainly for a vacant room. Fortunately, my friend found one bed in Frendz which according to the receptionist may fit in two and we could divide among ourselves the cost. My friend immediately paid so as not to lose his find. However, when I came in, they said it differently that I had to pay the same amount my friend paid since they charged per person, not per bed. I pointed out that that didn’t seem fair since we were told that we can the share the bed and the cost, and the bed can hardly snugly fit in two persons. Their posters also stated that the rate was per bed. Clearly, there may have been some miscommunications. At least, we argued, that they should be some price bargaining to a compromise for the bed for two people in fairness to us.
However, the supposed owner in her most unfriendly way intruded in our conversation, feisty and shouting cantankerously that she would just refund my friend’s money to end the case.
It was raining, almost night time. We were very very tired and nowhere to go. She knew we had no choice. We were tricked into a gambit to take the bed and pay twice what was initially agreed. If you have your options, please look for some place else. Who knows what opportunistic tricks the owner has under her sleeves, especially when it comes to prices and bills.

| I spent 7 days at frendz resort during April 2007. I found this place to be great valur for the price, much more than I had expected. Great location and staff. Apparently the resort was rebuilt after a typhoon in december 2006. I was impressed with the quality and cleanliness of the place. Would recommend this place to anybody.

| My girlfried and I stayed at this resort in september 2007. I was recommended this resort by some ex-pat friends. We were very impressed with the great bungalow we had, the price was very fair, the staff I must say were so helpful.
We hope to back again this year and will definately stay at frendz again.

| I got back from Boracay yesterday. I stayed at Frendz resort after reading about it in Lonely Planet. I paid 500p approx $12.50 for a fan room. The room was a fantastic bargain. The staff were great and very accomodating. The walk to the beach was about 1 1/2 mins . Would HIGHLY recommend. |
