Chacha's Garden is a small guesthouse with rooms and a cafe, set in a walled garden.
Run by myself, Rani (Brigit) and my husband Chacha (Mukesh). I am from England, and Chacha is from Pushkar.
There is a cafe, and a hall for sitting eating and talking.
If you ask I might let you use her kitchen. In fact, if you ask lots of things are possible,
After all this is the land of Sub Kutch Melaga!
We are just one minuet from Varaha Ghat, which is the centre of town, but it’s much more peaceful as its off the main market, off the beaten track.
The rooms are clean with big beds (yes big 6’ by 8’!). We are children friendly, animal friendly, in fact we’re friendly. If there is some thing you need ask, we’re happy to try and make it happy.

This is a lovely hotel with a gorgeous courtyard, around which the rooms are based. The couple who run it are extremely friendly and very helpful - happy to recommend restaurants, activities, etc. Chacha himself is a Brahmin so was happy to do puja at the lake with me, something that made it feel more like a proper religious experience rather than being mobbed by tourist catchers on the street. All in all I would recommend this hotel to anybody and it is definately an advantage to have someone English there who knows the area very well.
