| DANHOSTEL Ribe hostel is located in the middle of Ribe overlooking the Ribe River, the old part of town and the cathedral.
The hostel has 40 rooms/170 beds. All but 4 rooms have private facilities.
It is possible to rent a room or a bed in a room. In July and some of August backpackers are offered a bed in a group room with more than 4 beds and shared facilities (14 EUR). Breakfast and linen is not included.
Quality branding: the international eco label: The Green Key, The Accessibility Label for handicapped and the Cycling Quality Label.
All DANHOSTEL hostels are officially classified with a star-system, the maximum being five stars - Danhostel Ribe has four stars.
We are known to have nice and helpful personnel, a clean hostel and a very good breakfast buffet. No curfew - just remember your key.
Ribe is the oldest and one of the most beautiful towns in Denmark. Ribe�s ancient environment has been very well preserved and, while walking through the town, you can feel the touch of history much more strongly than anywhere else in the country.
Here, you will get as close as you will ever come to the Danish history of the Viking era and the Middle Ages.
Walking through the old town centre, you will find Ribe Cathedral, the Museum Ribes Vikings, Ribe Art Museum, speciality shops, many cosy restaurants and cafes etc.
From Danhostel Ribe Youth and Family Hostel, there is less than 10km to the unique nature experiences in and around the Wadden Sea, one of Europes leading projects in nature conservation, with birds, seals and unique flora.
Here you also find the small Wadden Sea islands and the North Sea.
Ribe centre is not very big and the hostel is placed right in the centre. Just follow the signs or ask.
