| Area : annapurna rangers |
| i did not get spat on by a camel of have my backpack stolen be a monkey but i did climb to the base camp of the mountian Annapurna in Nepal
this is a little letter to anyone one who will read it.
my wife and i did a 20 day walk through the annapurna rangers in nepal all the way to base camp
i have been backpacking for 10 years now and have seen a lot of the world but this place was great.
there is something about seeing half a mountian fall hundred of meters to the ground .the soundl is still in my head boulders falling and hitting like a bombs .then you turn around and there is a picture postcard of the annapurnas in the back ground.with there white capped tops and steam rising from them as the sun beads down and lush rain forrests nealing at there feet.
the fish tail (macchapuchre) over sees every step you take.
when you get to base camp it is the best feeling i have ever had
it makes you reflect your life and what is imporant with in it.
the people are the best they would give you the shirt of there back if you needed it.
this is one place every backpacker should go once in ther lives we all love to travel and lets face it once you have that bug there is no other way of life.
i work for 10 mths of the year just so i can travel for 2.
i hope this little story makes you want to go.
TAKE THE PATH LESS TRAVELED
