I love this place its cute and the coffee is the best in Mission Beach and Pacific beach. There is a load of changes going on (April 2007 ) and im looking forward to the new food that they are adding. Looks like they are having an all day breakfast which is much needed in that location nothing else is open at 6am for coffee or food ! Try the Acai bowls tell them Cindy sent you.

I stopped by this cute coffee shop yesterday to pick up a regular 16 oz coffee and ended up stay for almost an hour. What caught my attention was the advertising for ACAI bowls, i watches as a staff member whisked together one of these amazing looking bowls. After asking a few questions i decided to add one to my order. Wow! am i glad i found this place. The Acai bowl which was filled to overflowing with a Yogurt like purple berry blended with fresh banana and apple. This was topped with granola and more sliced bananas. Im not exaggerating when i say the taste was out of this world. I felt strangely energized, due i suspect to the caffeine that naturally occurs in these berries, its not as much as coffee but enough to give you a little kick start in the morning. Cafe Joie is now on my list of places to eat, oh and the coffee was also great.
